Supporting the coaching managers development
In 2007, the coaching manager, Liz Lambert, set out their coaching strategy:
In my many interviews with coaching sponsors, coach managers, external coaches and supervisors, internal coaches and supervisors, and those leading the journey to creating a coaching culture, I often heard stories describing what had gone wrong or become problematic on the journey.
It is important to ensure that coaching activities have a wide sponsorship from all parts of the business, and that coach managers equip their senior sponsors with regular updates, reviews, and evaluation to keep their colleagues informed and supporting the activities.
